Kasargod: Karnataka Janapada Parishat to hold Janapada on Sep 13

Kasargod, Sep 11: Karnataka Janapada Parishat Kerala border unit has proposed to inaugurate a Janapada programme at Kumble City Hall on Saturday September 13.

The programme will be inaugurated by D H Shankeramurthi, speaker of Karnataka Legislative Council. S R Patil, Minister of Information and Bio-Technology will be the chief guest. Author and Janapada Parishat director Arya Laxminarayana Alva will inaugurate the new office of Kerala border unit.

Unit president Keshava Prasad Nanithila will preside over the programme. Manjeshwar MLA P B Abdul Razak, Mangalore MLA J R Lobo, Janapada Parishat Center president Thimmegowda, Kerala Tulu Academy president B Subbayya Rai, Karnataka Byari Academy president B A Mohammed Hanif, Kumble grama panchayat vice president Manjunatha Alva, Badiadka grama panchayat vice president K N Krishna Bhat, Dakshina Kannada district Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Kerala Janapada Academy president Mohammed Ahmed, Campco vice president Kolaru Satischandra Bhandary, Sri Kshetra Dharmastala Rural Development Project officer Sandhya V Shetty and Kutumbashree CDS president Khadija will participate as guests.

Achievers in various spheres Dr Kuriyalaguthu Surendra Vittala Shetty, Mumbai, Dr K A Munir Bava Haji, Bangalore and Kattar Ibrahim Haji will be felicitated. It will be followed by various Janapada dances.
