Mangalore, Sep 12: A programme to felicitate Dr A M Narahari, Registrar of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) was organized by the executive committee members of the College Alumni/ae Association.
Professor Edmund Frank, Chairman of the Felicitation Committee addressing the audience said that Dr A M Narahari is an outstanding educationist and administrator and has the distinction of being appointed the first Registrar of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) by the management.
Fr Swebert D’Silva, Director said that Dr A M Narahari with his vast experience in higher education has been recognized as an outstanding educationist who has immensely contributed for qualitative higher education and is a great asset to the College.
Fr Denzil Lobo, Rector and patron said that his services have been utilized only in St Aloysius College, but in Universities at the State Level also for framing several policy guidelines.
Michael D’Souza, president SACAA said that Dr Narahari was a committed teacher, humble and honest, reliable and principled, kind hearted and a friendly human being. Capt. John Prasad Menezes host the reception dinner and felicitated Dr A M Narahari.
Dr Richard Gonsalves, vice president read the citation. J B Montiero secretary, Felix D’Silva joint secretary, Naveen Mascarenhas treasurer and all executive committee members were present.
Dr A M Narahari thanked SACAA president Michael D’Souza and felicitation committee chairman professor Edmund Frank and all the executive committee members for recognizing his good work and honouring him on the occasion. He expressed his his desire to convey his greetings to all his students and colleagues of the past and the present through SACAA. He added that he never expected such a grand reception. He thanked Capt. John Prasad Menezes for hosting the dinner in his honor.
Dr Errol Pinto and Dr Derick Lobo were also present at the function.
