Kundapur: Vehicle trafficking cattle topples; accused escape

Kundapur, Sep 16: A Mahindra pick up vehicle bearing the registration number KA 20 B 9419 toppled as the driver lost control while travelling at Naikanakatte on NH 66.

The pick up vehicle travelling from Kundapur to Byndoor was illegally transporting cattle. In totla there were three cows and two calves.

It is said that as soon as the vehicle toppled, the driver and cleaner escaped from the spot. However, one cow was seriously injured in the incident.

The vehicle and accused are yet to be indentified. Byndoor police have registered a case and are investing the matter.
