Bangalore: Padmapriya death case – High court orders re-investigation

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Sep 17: The state high court has ordered for re-investigation of the case concerning the death of Padmapriya, wife of former Udupi MLA, K Raghupati Bhat.

Padmapriya had ostensibly committed suicide in a New Delhi apartment in 2008. The Corps of Detectives (COD), to which the case was entrusted, had investigated the case. The superintendent of police in that department had, after conducting investigation, filed charge sheet in Udupi junior magistrate (first class) court.

Thereafter, Raghupati Bhat had appealed to the high court, objecting to non-inclusion of certain sections of Indian Penal Code relating serious offences in the charge sheet.

Advocate for Bhat, Pradeep Kumar, said that judge of the high court, Justice Ananda Byrareddy, through a verdict delivered on Tuesday September 16, has ordered for reinvestigation of the case and filing of fresh charge sheet.

Everyone knows the ruthless person who mercilessly killed Padmapriya and gave it a suicide twist.

He may have fooled the world with his false story, but can he fool Padmapriya's two sons who exactly know who killed their most loving mother.

Padmapriya's soul is wandering for justice, if law will not deliver justice, i am pretty sure Padmapriya's sons will deliver justice and let their mom's soul rest in peace

    Death Is Just The Beginning!

When the incident took place R.Bhat & his party was ruling & the police made the friend of diseased a scapegoat.
Bhat wanted him to be behind bars permanently by approaching High Court.
But here this will Boomerang & he might find himself in the dock, just like Arushi's parents found out, though circumstantial evidence implicated them, there was no clinching evidence nailing them produced by CBI against them.
Good move which will see no political interference nailing the real culprit this time.

SC took long time to finalize this case and i hope at least now truth will come out and justice prevail. The parents of the deceased, the innocent children who lost their mother and the family friend who was penalized for helping out may get the justice they deserve and the real culprit must go behind the bar for life sentence without any day, so other people will not do such things in future.

More the time the courts take to finalize any criminal case, the case will become weak because the evidences will fade away and the issue will loose its importance.
