Bahrain, Sep 17: The Konkani speaking community of Bahrain is gearing up for the semi-final of the prestigious Gulf Voice of Mangalore (GVOM) Season 4, scheduled to be held at the Baan Saeng Thai auditorium on Friday September 26. The much anticipated programme will start at 5:30 pm.
Judges for the event: Adrian Gomes, Ajith Peter D'Souza and Lancy Moras
Twelve semi-finalists – 6 each from male and female categories will be fighting it out for a spot in final. Two winners from Bahrain semi-finals will get an opportunity to participate in the final which will be held in Muscat on November 7 this year.
The event will be judged by well-known and famed music composers and singers from Mangalorean music world - Adrian Gomes, Lancy Moras and Ajith Peter D'Souza.
The programme will also showcase dance and rib-tickling comedy shows.
The organizers Konkani Kutam and Konkan Singers Club have requested the Konkani speaking community to attend in large numbers and enjoy the musical treat.
