Mumbai, Sep 27: Legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev was Wednesday appointed as the Chairman of the National Cricket Academy in place of Sunil Gavaskar.

Former captain Dilip Vengsarkar was appointed as Chairman of the Senior Selection Committee, replacing Kiran More who has completed his four-year term.

Former left-arm spinner Venkatpathy Raju (South) was the other new entrant in the five-member selection panel.

Bhupinder Singh Senior (North), Ranjib Biswal (East) and Sanjay Jagdale (Central) retained their posts after the Cricket Board's 77th Annual General Meeting here.

IS Bindra was made the Chairman of the Infrastructure Committee which will work on developing the stadiums for World Cup 2011.

BCCI Treasurer N Srinivasan told reporters that the BCCI had not accepted the members' participating agreement sent by the ICC to all its members for the period 2007 to 2015.

"We have reservations about certain clauses pertaining to players' endorsements and marketing. We have formed a committee to go into these and suggest minumum acceptable parameters."
