Dubai, Sep 23: Mangalore Konkans Dubai is all geared up to host the semi-final round of Gulf Voice of Mangalore (GVOM) Season 4 on Friday September 26. As already reported, almost all countries in the Gulf have already selected their candidates for the final of GVOM-4.
The Dubai round of GVOM 4 semi-final will commence sharp at 5:40 in the evening, at the Emirates Theatre - Emirates International School Dubai, Jumeirah (Al Thanya). The gates at the venue will open by 5 pm.
Speaking to Daijiworld James Mendonca, honorary president of Mangalore Konkans Dubai, said, "Right from the day of the Konkani Gayan Spordho, we have been engaged in the preparations for the semi-final round. Not only for the venue and other details, we have also invested a lot of time and energy in all the semi-finalists by holding regular practice sessions to groom their skills. I am happy that the day of reckoning is upon us. We will try our maximum to entertain the audience and at the same time select the best contestants for the finals of GVOM-4."
Judges for the semi-final round, Melwyn Peris, Anitha D'souza and Alwyn Fernandes have already arrived and have promised to select the best candidates that deserve to represent the UAE in the Finals of GVOM-4.
A winner from each category of male and female will be sent to represent the UAE in the finals of the GVOM-4 to be held in Muscat-Oman on Friday November 7.
The organizers have doubly guaranteed the guests a super hit extravaganza, a day to remember. With the results of the semi-finals held in some of the other Gulf countries already known, people are anxious to know who would make it to the finals from the UAE.
