Rohit Bal named grand finale designer of WIFW S/S 2015

New Delhi, Sep 24 (IANS): Rohit Bal, an expert in creating couture collections, has been finalised as the grand finale designer for the forthcoming edition of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) spring summer, starting here Oct 8. The designer is all set to wow his fans with his "sense of aesthetics without any constraints".

On the finale day, which will be on Oct 12, he is set to woo his clientele with a regal collection inspired by the resplendent glory of India's rich cultural heritage.

Bal is happy to be back and says it is an "honour" to be doing the grand finale for WIFW, once again.

"It is a perfect platform for me to show uninhibited creativity and express myself through a collection that transcends all seasons and reflects my sense of aesthetics without any constraints," Bal said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Wills Lifestyle celebrates the successful partnership with the master craftsmen for their signature collection, which will be retailed from the brand's stores across the country.

Atul Chand, divisional chief executive, ITC's Lifestyle Retailing Business Division, said the brand has decided to take the "unique initiative" of partnering with India's leading designers to retail the exclusive co-creations at the stores to "enable the fashion industry in reaching out to consumers across the country thus furthering the business of fashion."

The five-day fashion extravaganza will take place at Pragati Maidan here.
