Mangalore, Sep 25: Louis J Pinto has been elected the president of Mandd Sobhann for the year 2014-15.

The 27th annual general body meeting of Mandd Sobhann was convened recently at Kalaangann, in which the annual report and the financial statements were presented, discussed and approved.

The new office-bearers for the year 2014-15 were elected at the first executive committee meeting held on Wednesday September 24. They are as follows:

Office-bearers

Gurkar - Eric Ozario
President - Louis J Pinto
Vice-president - Naveen Lobo
Secretary - Kishore Fernandes
Joint secretary - Rony Crasta
Treasurer - Clara D’Cunha
Co-ordinator - Stany Alvares
Public relations officer - Arun Raj Rodrigues


Other members of the committee: Roy Castelino, Ronald Mendonca, Fr Ramesh Naik Bandodkar, Lawrence D’Souza, Victor Mathias, Sheldon Crasta, Matilda Pinto, Irin Rebello, Joy Fernandes (Goa), Rahul Pinto, Sunil Monteiro, Ancy D’Souza Paladka (Mumbai), Ramanand Pai, Adv Jayaram Siddi (Yellapur).

Louis Pinto was the president of Mandd Sobhann in the previous term also.
