Mangalore, Sep 26: In yet another incident of its kind, a man was stabbed by unknown people at Pajir under Konaje police station limits here on Thursday September 25.
Vittal resident Ibrahim (30) is the victim. He was riding to his wife’s house in Pajir, when he was waylaid and attacked by some persons who came on a Pulsar bike.
It may be recalled here that a few days back, group clashes had erupted at Debbeli in which eight persons were injured. The same night, Satish (40) from Devinagar, president of Hindu Jagarana Vedike, Pajir unit and Udaya (40) from Kambalapadavu were attacked with sharp knives by unknown people at Sambarthota near Mudipu. In that case also the attackers had come on a Pulsar bike. Satish had sustained grave injuries on his right shoulder.
Police suspect that Thursday's incident might have been a revenge for the attack on Satish and Udaya.
Konaje police are investigating.
