Kundapur, Oct 7: A person hailing from Gangolli near here was killed in a road accident that occurred at Yellapur in Uttara Kannada district on Thursday October 5 night.
The deceased has been identified as G K Ganesh (27), a resident of Gangolli. He was working in a fish transporting lorry. On Thursday, he was on his way to Hubli from Bhatkal on a mini lorry when a lorry coming from opposite direction collided with their vehicle.
As a result Ganesh sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The driver and cleaner of the mini lorry too have seriously been injured in the accident.
