Mangalore, Sep 30: Two women were caught in cameras stealing sarees in a shop in Thokkottu near Ullal on Monday evening.

Well. There were only found in cameras, not be really found.

The shop on the Mangalore Kasargod highway was crowded when his incident happened. These two women who came to the cloth shop kept on demanding sales persons to exhibit more sarees. As it is a normal practice, the sale persons obliged. The women did not buy anything from the shop and went out, which is also not unusual. The sales persons later realised that some sarees were missing when they started loading the sarees back to the shelves.

When the owner of the shop decided to observe the CCTV footage, it was discovered that the women shoppers had hidden the missing sarees inside their undergarments before they left the shop !

The police have received the CCTV footage but no official complaint has been lodged yet. Total number of 5 sarees were stolen thus from the shop. The women are said to be of Tamil origin.

Two months back women from a neighbouring state involved in pick pocket incidents were caught and handed over to the police in the same area.

And two days back Daijiworld had reported an incident where two women were nabbed after an attempt to snatch a gold chain from a small girl in a cloth store near Milagres, Hampankatta in Mangalore.
