Puttur: Student commits suicide by hanging

Puttur, Oct 3: A 19-year-old college student committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel room at Darbe, Puttur, here on Friday October 3.

The deceased has been identified as Alok, resident of Murnad Madikeri.

Police sources said that he was pursuing his education in 1st B Com at St Philomena College Puttur. He was staying in the college hostel.

A case has been registered in Puttur Urban Police station.
