When a strong drunken man is misbehaving with Lady Police, and women, the Police Ladys will look into the matter.when public too starts to thrash him,the Situation will go out of control. Some People dont know where to start and when to stop.It should not come to this Situation.for a drunken man ,it is of null effect. He will not be noticing or Aware of it.Of course it is very uncomfortable to be touched by a drunken man.But at that Moment handle him by arresting him and put him in a Hospital or see that he wont be victim by the public.when Police are there ,they should be knowing what to do with him.

Cops are supposed to serve & protect. Least the cops could do was put the man in custody. The picture of the lady cops, especially the one in sari, looks hell bent on trashing the fallen man. How crude & inhuman.

    Misbehaving or mishandling
there is a law for everything.

    Only should apply right law
at right place and right time.

Not like Morning mist home-stay attack:-
First police arrested all victim students who celebrating there birthday,
After medias solid pressure slowly they started to arrest one by one culprits and release victims. If police cannot act against criminals they know very well to act against victims, like "Protesters of Church Attacks'
Not a single Church attacker arrested or punished"
I can say still Mangalore Police are wearing skirt and bangles still now, what else you can expect then???

@Christine, just think for one moment, if the accused 'misbehaver" was one of your close relative what would have been your 'frank' view, really very very shocking to read your views (if I have not misunderstood your post)!!!

Dear Citizens. Please do not hit and hurt people in this manner.(Looks like they are killing snake) which may result in death.God may hold you responsible and guilt will eat your heart. First thing first, this man neatly dressed and looks like pretty decent person. What if he is drugged or some one has given him something to eat or drink which will make him drunk with a purpose of robbing! Please think.beside beating a drunk man is foolishness, instead take him to police, wait till he becomes normal, and then question his motives.I am telling you I have seen 3 situation like these and people were innocent.

    Misbehaving with women is bad...
    Thrashing him is also bad...
Both are possible only in Karnataka under Mallu HM KJ George...

When he misbehaved with women police, why lady police did not arrest him? Why public intervened?
Because, police are scared after government filed FIR against Anti-Naxal policeman for taking right acion against "privileged community"

Thrashing cattle thieves is very much required....
Thrashing a drunkard is not really called for that too when the issue is between drunkard and police....
Hope you know the difference between "thief" and "drunkard" take care of them accordingly when they come around home......

I went to mangalore recently many people are practicing corruption openly including government offices and piling illegal wealth. Its a shame and disgusting people are beating this young chap and that too drunk man.Best thing would have been to give him to police. Whats the credibility of people who beat him? Can they say they are clean and noncorrupt? . World is full of unfare methods and practices. Law cannot be one for you and one for other person.

You have given a very wise and 'unbiased' view on the subject, I admire your boldness!!

You rightly said what that what are the 'credentials' of the people who thrashed a misbehaving person in 'drunken stupor' by taking law into their hands and feeling proud of it!!

White collar criminals are busy amassing crores and crores from the innocent and gullible using various corrupt and devious means and nobody has even the guts to go and lodge complaints against them!!

The world is real a cruel place where people find pleasure in tormenting a weak and poor person while giving 'false respect' to the rich and powerful just to be in their good books and gain for them!!

Best and easiest way would have to restrain him and take him to the police station and try him under the various laws of the land instead of indulging in this barbarism!!

The above is a personal opinion!!

Please be noted that giving bribe is also illegal. No person is 100% clean. Can anybody say with confidence to get the work done without paying bribe. We always take a short cut rout to get our work done. News here says this person was misbehaving with police. Then what is the point of reporting to police.

Bro, offering bribe is also illegal, all know that!! Do you know these people will get the best of the will powered person by making you run from pillar to post in such a way and spend time and money which nobody can afford even when you have got all the papers in order then what other option is left other than to budge to their claims!! If you are poor and uneducated they will just get shooed or even threatened on some flimsy grounds!! Jai Hind!!

    See dear Albert...
    1. A FIR stands registered in this case.
    2. Also go to the news item in Daiji once again and see some 'provocative' comments against this statement of the legenday singer.
The one that stands out is of course that of dear Maria..,Kirem.
She has made 'Kirem 'very popular.
    Her retort:
'Even if a women is naked than the animal in man has 'NO RIGHT OVER PROPERTY MATTERS' OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT ! I forget but ..................
Some spirited 'dress code' defence she was making.
Everything is calm now. We can move on.

I really wonder who hit him, whether Police or Public ? Because if you see the Photos above, you can get doubt. Anyway it is good lesson for Road Romeos. Better behave yourself properly, or else others will make(force) you to.

Bye the way, in public transport, Alchol is perhaps forbidden, & so such passengers should be fined, like the case of smoking in public.

While condemning the accused's 'indecent behavior', he being 'drunk' could have been easily restrained (as is done on misbehaving chaps inside an aircraft) by a few men and taken to the police station instead of hitting him black and blue by taking law into one's hands!! Just imagine if he sustains a permanent injury or even 'death' due to the thrashing!!!!

    Hi Jagadish,

    1) Don't worry he doesn't die. He acts like he is going to die. But you need to continue giving deadly blows where it hurts most.

    2) Some times you need to fight back or defend yourself when someone is misbehaving with you.

    3) Why do you think police does "encounter"?

If Girls/Women dress up neatly they are harassed and if they are not still they are. Recently a singer said that girls should not wear jeans. All lies in man's mentality. Today a child of 3 years is molested & raped, a old woman of 70 years is molested and raped. Do we say it is because of women's clothes. I don't feel ashamed in saying being a man that "Men are sex starved". Time we change our mindset. I can say with pride and respect to women folk that you are far ahead in generation than men. Keep the momentum going.

    1. For a man 'sex starved' as you say, wearing of Jeans or Saree by a woman does not matter! Does not really matter!
    2. For a 'drunkard' too nothing matters.
3.You can say with pride and respect to women folk that they are far ahead in generation than men and to keep the momentum going...However, that does not make all women 'Pure-Snow Whites'!
    4. Also if you notice it's only the 'advances and misdeeds' of men that grab the highlights.
Of late, women have also showed ,what they can do in this field.
    5. It is not a 'level playing field' agreed, but women too have advanced here by leaps and bounds.
Do not put 'all blame' on men!
In this case the drunkard got what he deserved.
