Managlore, Oct 7: Hope Charitable Trust has taken an initiative to help the needy and has built a house at Thannirbavi and donated it to Sunil Veigas who is economically very poor and is a daily wage worker.

Parish priest Fr Oswald Lasrado of Our lady of Fatima church, Thannirbavi, Panamboor blessed the house. Servinre Monteiro handed over the house key to Sunil Veigas and family. Trustee Victor Pinto, Vamanjoor and Jefry Monteiro, Mondakap inaugurated the house. Vice president of the church welcomed the guests. Romio Saldana honoured the contractor Francis D’souza. Trustees Naveen Monteiro, Dr Vincent Crasta, coordinators Herlod Monteiro and Alfred Bennis were present on the occasion.

                                                                 

Hope charitable trust (http://www.hopecharitytrust.org/) was established in 2007 by few likeminded individuals to do bit for the upliftment of the society with the mission 'Charity that changes lives by harnessing the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community-based services to the poor and needy.'

Hope Charitable Trust receives donations from people who share their vision and mission. The donations are exempted from Income Tax under 80G of IT Act 1961.
