Kundapur: Fisherman accidentally falls into river, dies

Kundapur, Oct 14: A fisherman accidentally fell into a river and died at Manganese Wharf in Gangolli on Monday October 13 night.

Vasantha Kharvi (30) from Guddekeri, Gangolli is the deceased.

The deceased was coming back from his fishing work in a boat when he accidentally fell into Panchagangavali River. The onlookers tried to save him, but in vain. The body was only found on Tuesday October 14 morning.

Gangolli police have registered a case.
