Dubai: George Menezes Elected President of 'Omzoorche Dive'

Dubai Oct 16: George Menezes has been elected as the president of “Omzoorche Dive”
An association of Omzoor parishioners residing in the UAE

This was announced recently during the Monti fest Celebration organized by Omzoorche Dive at Qusais Dubai.


The new Committee for the year 2014 – 2015 has been formed on 26th September and the members are as follows

President – George Menezes
Secretary – Babitha D Souza
Treasurer – Robin D Souza
Culture Secretary – Steevan D Souza
Sports Secretary – Prasanth D Silva
Media Representative – Manoj Vas
Advisor – Arthur D Souza

Committee Members:

Lucy Pereira, Lancy D Souza, Arthur Pereira Jockim Lasrado, Sunil Pereira , Vijay Tellis, Naveen Lasrado , Jyothi D Souza, Jenitha Monteiro, Zeena D Souza, and Meveena Vas .

Outgoing president Arhtur D Souza thanked all the office bearers and committee members for their tremendous support during his tenure as President for two years. He congratulated all newly elected members and as an Advisor he promised his full support to the Association in future

Newly Elected President George Menezes also thanked everyone for reposing faith on him and electing him a President of Omzoorche Dive. He promised that with support of all members to work together so that it strengthens the association
All newly elected members expressed their views and promised their full support to make “Omzorche Dive” Shine
