Mangalore: Lifeguards save two persons from drowning

Mangalore, Oct 20: Two persons were saved from drowning at Panambur beach by lifeguards on Sunday.

The persons saved from the disaster are Narayana Nayak (35) and Sandesh (14) both from Vittal. The duo had come with others for the picnic at the beach.

Panambur beach has seen hundreds of disasters in the past decades. Despite posting warning on the site with death tolls, disasters have continued to take place.

Now it has come to light that 96 lives have been saved since 2008 by the Panambur Beach Tourism

Development Project. Only 10 days back, a duo of youngsters was saved from drowning by the life guards.
