Raichur, Oct 20: In a strange incident, two employees of private sector Karnataka Bank Ltd died under mysterious circumstances inside the bank premises here on Sunday October 19.

The deceased have been identified as bank manager, Sundar (50), and an employee named Sharath (27). Both of them had arrived at the branch premises on Sunday, although the bank was closed for business.

The security staff of the bank, who grew suspicious after sometime at the fact that no sounds were coming from inside the bank, peeped in and found that both Sundar and Sharath had fallen on the ground after developing health complications.

Both were shifted to OPEC Hospital in the town, where doctors declared them brought dead.

Preliminary enquires failed to elicit any plausible reasons on the mysterious death.

A case stands registered in Nethaji Nagar police station here. The locals hope that police investigation will bring out root cause of this incident.
