Mysore, Oct 22: The annual general body meeting of Konkani Christian Association, Mysore was held on Sunday October 19 at Konkan Bhavan, Vijayanagar, Mysore.

On this day, students belonging to the entire Konkani speaking community, irrespective of caste and creed, who have excelled in various fields, including education and sports were honored by the association.

The day began with the celebration of a special eucharistic mass offered for the speedy completion of the finishing works of the building, which was celebrated by Sunil Rodrigues. Mass was followed by breakfast after which the general body meeting commenced.

Gracian Rodrigues, president of the association, addressed and welcomed the august gathering. Secretary John William Dsouza read the annual report. Chief Guest Dr Richard Piccardo congratulated all the winners.

Leonilla Crasto, wife of Late Edwin Crasto, gave away the prizes. The meeting was followed by sumptuous lunch.
