Mangalore: Three thefts in one night in the heart of city

Mangalore, Oct 22:  Three separate incidents of thefts have taken place on the same night in Hampankatta area of the city on Sunday night.

The police complaints regarding all these thefts have been registered at Bunder police station.

J V Hardware,  Bombay Bazaar Cloth Stores opposite Mangalore University College and M P Silks next to Central Theatre were the shops where the thefts occurred.

As per reports, around Rs.2, 000 from J V hardware, Rs. 20,930 from Bombay Bazaar Cloth Stores and Rs. 1 lac from M P Silks were stolen.

Police have been given CCTV records from M P Silks which will help in the investigations. Going by initial leads, it looks like a handiwork of a same group.
