Kundapur: Scooter - Lorry accident, rider dies on spot

Kundapur, Oct 24: In an accident involving a lorry and a scooter which occurred at around 4.15 Friday evening at Sang junction on highway number 66, near Kundapur town, the rider of the scooter has died instantly.

The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Poojary a resident of Devali near Mullikatti.


































The deceased, a real estate dealer had come to Kundapur on some work and was returning on his Honda Activa scooter. The lorry with the Andhra registration which was on its way to Hyderabad hit the scooter from behind.

The Kundapur traffic police have registered the case.

    sad.may his Soul rest in peace.Even scooters are not keeping distance between a vehicle driving before.very closebehind makes one no Chance of stopping immediately by a sudden break from front Person.And it Shows the muncipality or govt should think of making a seperate road only for bycycle ,scooter or Motorrad.Many People loose their life because of driving in These vehicle.fault is from both sides.Heartfelt sympathy to the Family.
