Mangalore, Oct: 26: Samskara Bharathi will celebrate its 25th anniversary at Town Hall on October 29 at 5 pm. This was informed by Samskara Bharathi State Committee President Kumble Sundar Rao here on Wednesday.
To mark this event the association will honour 10 achievers. Dr Amrith Someshwar (folk and yakshagana scholar), A Ishwraiah (art), Prof Udyavara Madhava Acharya (theatre), Prof M Ramachandra (litterateur), K V Acharya (artist and writer), K Muralidhar Rao (dancer), Palthadi Ramakrishna Achar (Tulu and folk expert), Padubidri Subraya Mani Bhagavatha (musician), Nellikatte Narayana Hasyagar (Yakshagana artist) and Macchendranath Pandeshwar (writer and play director).
