Mangalore, Oct 27: A K Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary, will inquire into the circumstances and causes that led to the disturbances in the city and surrounding areas from October 4 to October 10.

All persons, associations, organisations interested in furnishing information have been directed to submit their written statements either in English or Kannada, accompanied by an affidavit of the person as per the prescribed format.

The statement together with the affidavit, the list of documents, in any, should be submitted to Agarwal in the court hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office, between 3 pm and 5 pm on November 6 and between 10 am to 1 pm on November 7.

The inquiry is in addition to investigation being carried out by the CoD.
