Mangalore: J R Lobo celebrates Diwali with ashram kids

Mangalore, Oct 26: Mangalore South MLA J R Lobo celebrated Diwali with the Bhagini Samaj Ashram children and distributed sweets, fruits and also burst crackers with children here on Friday October 24, at Bhagini Samaj Ashram, Jeppu, Mangalore.

After the Diwali celebration, speaking to the media, Lobo said, "The only reason we are celebrating Diwali with these kids are that that these children should not feel that they are left out from the society. Even they deserve to celebrate each and every festival with the society. This is a small attempt from the Congress party."

 

 

On the eve of festival, Lobo distributed rice to two poor families by visiting their house.

Deputy Mayor Kavitha Vasu, corporators Rathikala, Shailaja, and Congress party members Mohammed Badruddin, Suresh Shetty, Vishwas Das, T K Sudhir, Sadashiva Amin, Ramananda Poojari, Tejaswiraj, Namitha Rao, Dennis D'Silva, Durga Prasad, Bennet D'Mello, Sunil Shetty, Mohammed Hussain, Sandeep Bolar, Shafi Ahmed, Uday Bolar and others were also present on this occasion.

    Some thing nice to see Lobo is doing among the unfortunate. Dear Lobo what the other unfortunate people who have to walk on the roads's there exist no foot paths in your consistency. When will you build foot paths. No Dombra atta please.
