Slaughterhouse waste found in Permude, villagers angry

Moodbidri, Oct 28: Slaughterhouse wastes were found at a place in Kuntapadavu Pathrottu near Permude and the police complaint has been lodged about it at Bajpe police station.

It is said that the same has been happening in the area for the past three months. The villagers have alleged that the stray dogs spread the waste to nearby places making the place very unhygienic.

When the people found the slaughterhouse wastes on Monday, they immediately informed the police and the police visited the spot. It is believed that there are many unauthorised slaughterhouses in the vicinity.

Some people say that the slaughterhouse waste is dumped to create uncertainty and tension the area. Bajpe Sub Inspector Narasimhamoorthy has promised that the police would investigate and bring the culprits to books.
