Kundapur: Panchayat members demand action against bill collector

Kundapur, Oct 29: The members of Gangolli Panchayat have demanded to take against a bill collector who has been allegedly showing disrespect to them.

The Panchayat members have demanded to pass a resolution in the general meeting of the Panchayat to this effect.

The bill collector in question is a person named Udaya.

The members of Panchayat said that Udaya has been problematic to the people who have availed facilities like accommodation and toilets from the Panchayat. They even accused Udaya of extortion.

The members have said that they have already sent complaints to deputy commissioner and Zilla Panchayat on the issue.
