Moodbidri, Oct 29: A car hit three pedestrians and injured them in Moodbidri on Tuesday morning.
The injured are Mehar (14), Bunezha (13) and Fauziya (14). The girls were going to their houses after attending their morning classes at the local Madrasa.
The accident took place at Hudko colony in Vishal Nagar of Moodbidri. The car which was said to have lost control first hit an electric pole and then hit the girls who were walking on the roadside. The electrical pole was knocked down.
Moodbidri police have registered the case. The injured girls have been admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore.
