Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Oct 30: Out of three men who together went to the beach at Mukka on Wednesday October 29 evening for taking bath, one drowned after strong waves washed him away into the sea.

The person who went missing in this fashion was Mithun Saika (22), a resident of West Bengal. He was a construction worker and was presently working for a project that is under way at Mukka.

After work hours on Wednesday, Mithun had gone to the beach with two of his friends. Within sometime, all the three got sucked into the sea by a strong wave. However, two men succeeded in wriggling out of the situation and reaching the shore unscathed with great effort. Mithun however, went missing.

A search launched by the locals and the police for Mithun went in vain.
