Kanara Entrepreneurs conduct awareness about Public Relations

Bangalore, Oct 30: Members of Kanara Entrepreneurs(KE) met here for their monthly meeting on September 19 at Grand Magrath Hotel. The main topic for the members meet was on “Leverage the power of PR for your Company” . Despite the weather there was large turnout of members and guests attending the meeting.

The meet started off with KE prayer to almighty. Mark Dsouza, president of KE addressed the gathering , and briefed upon the recent amendments in IT returns, he also stressed the importance of public relations in all verticals of life.

Mark later gave the members an update on all activities and their status since the last meeting. “KE Speakers Forum –Season 2 “ was completed. Twelve members were benefited from this forum and have become public speakers. Two members of KE, Anil Francis Rego and Stan Dsouza were invited as judges for the management fest held at Christ University. Mark also informed that the next KE picnic would be held on October 26 at Green valley resorts in outskirts of Bangalore.

Director James Pinto informed on the next factory visit to L&T and briefed on the importance of visit and the benefits the members would get by this opportunity.

Allan Aranha later introduced the main speaker for the day Tarunjeet Ratan, managing partner of Nucleus Public Relations. She is a post graduate from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication in Communication Management. She has over thirteen years of experience in the field of Public Relations and Events and excels at strategizing, brand support and media relations.

Along with working out clear communication goals for clients she delivers effective media counsel that forms the core of a relevant and effective communication strategy. She spearheads and oversees all public relations projects in the company

Tarunjeet gave a detailed understanding of PR and its implications and also said that PR is the route for successes for any business. Adrian volunteered for a small demonstration of understanding what his customers would know of him and his business. He said that customers would know about transparency, loyalty ,trust, honesty ,good work and ethics. The session was very informative in understanding various aspects of how his business has been benefited for having a right PR model in place.

Later Henry Aranha also explained to speaker the positives and negatives of his business. Tarunjeet then explained how PR could help in expanding his business. The session was a very interactive session and most members had their PR doubts cleared with respect to their business.

Later George Timothy read out an announcement sent by Archdiocese of Bangalore .

Vote of thanks was given by Charles Gomes. Meeting concluded with fellowship dinner. Vivon Pinto compered the event.
