Mangalore: Rowdy sheeter Keshava Poojary booked under Goonda act

Mangalore, Oct 31: Notorious rowdy sheeter Keshava Poojary (24) alias Choani alias Poison Choani has been booked under Goonda Act.

Keshava is presently lodged in Bellary jail serving a jail term.

Keshava, the son of Jaya Poojary is from Someshwar. Police in the past have registered several cases of murder, assaults, looting, extortion and other cases against him.

Keshava is also an accused in the Mannagudde shoot-out case of 2013 and Sandeep Shetty murder case which had taken place in 2011.

    Does it matter in India, if police eliminates a few roudy sheeters, rather than keeping them in jail and feeding them. By doing this it looks like police and govt. is giving security in the form of jail from were these rodies still operate their business with the help of a few Corrupted policemen. If rowides are confirmed like in Keshava's case, hang him till death rather than adding additonal charges to his already exsiting degree.
