Mangalore: Bharath Bank opens two new branches in DK district

Mangalore, Oct 31: “Bharat Bank, controlled by Billavara Association, Mumbai, opened its 58th branch in Ujire and 59th branch in Kankanady on Thursday October 30 and Friday Oct 31,” said Jaya C Suvarna, executive president, Bharat Bank.

Giving details about the Bank, he said that it functions in accordance with the teachings of Sri Narayana Guru. “The Bank has shown the light to those who have dreamed of prosperity. It has met the needs of the poor and the downtrodden and made them businessmen which is why the love and good wishes of the customers is always with the Bank,” he said.

“The customer--friendly bank has provided international debit cards to its customers. It has bagged 42 awards in banking service spanning 36 years and become successful in gaining the confidence of its customers. It is now opening branches in rural areas for the service of rural people. The bank has 14 branches in the state on a multi state-level and is spreading its reach by opening branches in Ujire and Kankanady,” added Suvarna.

“The bank has increased its prestige by stepping into Karnataka. The RBI has permitted the bank to open branches in Gujarat,” he said.

 

“The able leadership of Jaya C Suvarna, the group of directors, and higher officials as well as unstinting support of the staff has made the bank surge ahead on the path to progress,” said general manager Nithyananda D Kotian.

Directors Bhaskar M Salian, chief manager N Raghava Bangera, Kankanady branch manager Udaya S Salian, senior officials of the bank Sunil Gujaran and Vijaya Palan, former director N M Sanil, and Harischandra Salian were present.

 

Belthangady: New Branch of Bharath Bank Ltd opens in Ujire

Belthangady, Oct 31: Multi-state scheduled Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd, opened its new branch at Central Complex, Belal Cross, Belthangady taluk, on Thursday October 30.

Belthangady MLA K Vasanth Bangera cut the ribbon and inaugurated the branch. National Billavara Maha Mandala Mulky president and Bank’s executive president Jaya C Suvarna lit the traditional lamp.

Belthangady Billava leader Pitambar Heraje and trustee Vijaya Raghava Paduvettaya inaugurated the functions of the Bank and the Bank’s vice-president advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated the Bank’s strong room.

“May the Bank be an inspiration for the benefit of the poor. Let it strive for the prosperity of rural people and by being a source of prosperity, achieve progress,” said Bangera.

“Let the Bank progress by brightening up the lives of people. Our support is with you. Let the Bank grow as the lifeline of the rural people,” said trustee Paduvettaya.

“Our dream of several years has been made a reality by Jaya Suvarna. May the projects of the bank providing financial assistance materialize. Transparency and prompt service is necessary for the people here. May the Bank light up on the national arena with the blessings of Manjunath and Janardhana Swamy,” said Pitambar Heraje.

“The Bank is prepared to face international competition. The Bank hopes to benefit people in urban and rural areas. It is progressing as an ideal example in the co-operative sector. We aim to make the Bank the leading bank among co-operative banks,” said Jaya Suvarna who has been instrumental to the prosperity of the Bank.

Bank development officers Sunil Gujaran, Vijay Palan, Jithesh Kotian, local chief managers N Raghava Bangera (Hampankatta), Balakrishna Karkera, local branch managers Laxminarayana C Salian(Mulki), Arunkumar G Kotian (Udupi), Pravin M Bangera (Puttur), Sudhir S Hattiangadi (Moodbidri), and Padmanabha K Karkera were present and conveyed their best wishes.

Raghunatha Shanti Belthangadi conducted ‘Vastuhoma’, ‘Ganahoma’ and ‘Satyanarayana Pooja’. Pradeep Shanthi distributed ‘Theerthaprasada’ and blessed. Sathita T Poojary and Umesh N Jathan participated in ‘poojas’. Ujire branch chief Sham N Poojary welcomed. Chief manager Nithyananda D Kotian compered the programme, introduced the guests, and gave details about the bank. Assistant manager Dinesh S Poojary proposed the vote of thanks.
