Bengaluru, Nov 2: Amid public outrage over a spate of sexual assaults on minor girls, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah warned the managements of schools that permission granted to their schools would be revoked and criminal cases booked against them if they violate guidelines for safety of children.

Siddaramaiah was speaking during his address on the 59th Karnataka Rajyotsava function in Bengaluru.

"Sexual assaults on minor girls have made the civil society hang its head in shame. Even beasts don't behave like this. It is inhuman and condemnable," Siddaramaiah said.

The public anger has grown over the sexual assault of a six-year old girl recently which is the fourth such incident in the past four months.

“Goonda Act will be invoked against the culprits and government had already taken various steps like amending laws, forming expert committees and issuing safety guidelines, to check such incidents from taking place,” he added.

“Government is considering setting up fast track courts to ensure speedy trials relating to sexual assault on minor children. Heads of school managements should join hands with government to curb such incidents.” Siddaramiah said.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner had recently issued guidelines listing the steps to be taken by schools, including installing CCTVs, to ensure safety of girl students.

    You are wrong again!
    1. Siddu din't prevent rape, which happened in private place but Modi could not prevent burning of train, which happened in public place. Further, post riot handling of riots modi was called as Nero, by none other than SC.
Poor you. When it comes to law, even drunken salman khan is roaming free todate after crushing sleeping people under his vehicle wheels.

    2. Over 90percent of students in western countries work part time in pubs, KFC, Pizza etc., to take care of their student fee's. You should have known this better, if you lived in Amsterdam.

    3. Since you have no regard of others dignity, Amsterdam is nick named as sex capital of the world, for its exotic glitter. What you are doing there? Living upto your name? Before you ridicule others dignity, better be careful. You respect and you will be respected.

At last Nidderamayyya has woken up...You are a bit too late mate,, When the first rape happened you were fast asleep in the parliment.. and retorted ''is this the only thing to discuss'' so it takes couple of more incidents with such innocents to happen to ensure you come out of your slumber..Pathetic ...a typical Khangress attitude.

Can the same logic 'rape happened you were fast asleep' you mentioned, be applied to Modi on 2002 riots? Feku fans have mastered the craft of accusing and abusing, exercising Hit and Run options every time.

You apply this logic to the train burning incident were 60 odd karsevaks were burnt alive. This triggered the riots. If not for this incident there would not have been any riots in Gujarat. When the supreme court has passed the verdict, I dont think we have to discuss this. Meanwhile its just the ploy of the Italian barmaid led Khangress to ignite hatred among minorities for vested interests and we all know that.
