Dubai: 'Amitabh's RAW' to Dance on Konkan Showers Stage

Dubai, Nov 2: As the final countdown began for the fifth successful anniversary of St Mary's Konkani Community (SMKC), Dubai to be held on November 9, 2006 in Al Nasr Leasureland, the organizers are leaving no stone unturned to give a high-quality and widely-accepted entertainment event to the audience.
As already announced earlier, many up-and-coming and experienced singing artistes will fly in all the way from Mangalore, Mumbai, Kuwait and Doha. They will also be joined by local artistes.
Further to give a touch of comedy, Nitin Bandarkar of 'Johny Alare' fame on Zee TV has agreed to perform in Konkan Showers.
And now SMKC has broken the news to daijiworld that Dubai's very well-known professional troupe 'Amitabh's R A W' will be the part of the event to entertain with some superb dancing shows.
"We are planning to present Konkan Showers with a variety of entertainment events. It is our aim that the entire audience must enjoy the show," said Noel Mascarenhas, the main co-ordinator of SMKC Dubai while speaking to daijiworld.
Amitabh's R A W (Rebel Against the World) made a beginning as a small dance group in 1993. Riding on the sheer strength of its dancing skills, today it has positioned itself as the leading dance / fashion choreography group. The valuable experience gained through the performances and fashion shows has helped them in becoming a fully equipped and comprehensively qualified events and promotions firm.
Amitabh's R A W team has performed with well-known bollywood names in Dubai and abroad. To mention a few, they have performed with Hrithik Roshan, Remo Fernandes, Shaan, Sagarika, Hindus Creed, Shyamolie Verma, Hansraj Hans, Milind Soman and others.
The organizers confident that the involvement of professional dance troupes would surely boost the grade of the show and public interest in it and that it will fully entertain the audience up to their expectations.
Meanwhile, the Konkani singing artistes are expected to arrive in Dubai early next week. Tickets are in good demand and the organizers expect it to be a full-capacity show.
The backbone of the Konkani show will be West Breez, a mind-blowing music group widely known and appreciated for its committed and professional performance. The troupe is led by Robert Viegas who has years of experience in handling mega shows in the past in the UAE and other parts of the world. West Breez will direct the music for Konkani event.
