Udupi, Nov 5: A Shirva woman missing has been traced in Mundagodu of Uttara Kannada district.

Shashikala (30) was found missing from her house on October 31 and a missing complaint was lodged at Shirva police station by her mother Gulabi. Shashikala is an employee of an educational institution.

When the police were trying their best to find the missing woman, they received some clue that the woman was taken to Mundagodu by Ravishankar Naik who was working as a mason in Shirva. Apparently Shashikala herself gave this information to her parents after she landed in problem once she reached Mundagodu.

It is gathered that Shashikala and Ravishankar were in love for the past three months and on October 31 they decided to go to Dharmastala and Murdeshwar. From there Ravishankar took her to Mundagodu. There was a surprise for Shashikala in Mundagodu. She came to know that he was already married. She found his wife and two children in the house. Later there was another surprise. She came to know that Ravishankar also was married before with another 3 children from the first marriage. He had left his first wife. If Shashikala had married him, she would have been his third wife. But she was saved from that agony.

The second wife of Ravishankar was not accommodative to Shashikala. How could she be anyway? Shashikala phoned her parents with so many surprises.

The police on this information went to Mundagodu and rescued Shashikala. Ravishankar is absconding. Shashikala has lodged a complaint now against Ravishankar.
