Kasargod, Nov 4: A young girl who was upset over financial matter, committed suicide by consuming acid at Badiadka police station limits, here on Tuesday, November 4.
The deceased has been identified as Susheela(26), daughter of Kilingar Ajjarakodi resident Babu.
Susheela was working as a Pygmy collector for the last four years in a private finance company functioning at Mangaluru. She had collected and handed over Rs two lacs collected from Badiadka,
Nirchal and other places. Meanwhile, the finance company got split and she lost her job.
The girl lost her job and did not get the money back. Being unable to repay the money to the depositors, she consumed acid on October 28.
She was rushed to Mangaluru hospital in a serious condition. However, she died being unable to respond to treatment.
