UXCEL felicitate edlers of society during charity show

Mangaluru, Nov 5: The UXCEL Mangalore staged a charity show 'When Papa comes home' at St Agnes College Auditorium, Bendore on November 3, monday from 6pm to 8.30 pm.

The stage programme was organized prior to the show to felicitate elders of the society.

 

Kavita Saliyan welcomed, Santan Lobo (104), Kamal D'Costa, Sr Mary Leena and Sr Prem D'Souza were felicitated.

Students of UXCEL briefed the achievements of the guests on the dais.

Prof Maria Phyllis D’Costa, director of the show, honoured the guest with flowers and cash in an envelope.

The audience had come in large number to watch play 'When Papa comes home' and it enthralled the audience and captivated their minds.

The play was based on today parents are being abandoned by their children and the children do not look after the needs of the parents when they are old. The old parents start to live in orphanage centre. The story was well directed, at the end the children realize the mistake they had done in the past. The children ask for forgiveness, whole-heartedly parents accepts them back and start to live a happy and loving life.
