Preparatory meet for Joseph Vaz shrine celebrations held

Mangaluru, Nov 4: A preparatory meeting was organized at Joseph Vaz shrine Mudipu on Tuesday November 4 to prepare for the celebrations to be held from January 14, 2015, to January 16, 2015, at the shrine.

The preparatory meeting at the shrine was headed by district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai, while U T Khader, health minister, and district commissioner A B Ibrahim were also present.

A blue print for various development work to be undertaken for the purpose was prepared at this meeting.

Ivan D’Souza, MLC, Ashok, assistant engineer, Malleswami Thahsildar, Umesh Bhat, PWD engineer, Cyprian Miranda, EO, Bantwal, K P Girish, PRED engineer, Prabhakar, deputy director, department of tourism, Alwyne D'Souza, KDP member, Fr Gregory D Souza, director and parish priest, Blessed Joseph Vaz Shrine and Church Mudipu, vice-president Roshan D’Souza, Leo D'Souza, secretary, Ashok, Congress party leader, Lancy Rodrigues , Michael D’Souza, Felix D'Souza , Arun D'Souza, Marcel D'Souza, Praveen D’Souza, and Rajath Veigas were present.
