Knightley can't imagine 'Pirates of the Caribbean' return

Los Angeles, Nov 6 (IANS): Actress Keira Knightley, who portrayed the role of Elizabeth Swan in first three films of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, doesn’t see herself reprising the role.

The 29-year-old actress, who teamed up with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom for the films, feels it was a great moment in her life, but she would not do it again, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Asked in an interview, whether she wishes to return to the role of Elizabeth, she said: "No, I don't think so.

"It was an amazing point in my life, but it was a good five-year chunk. It was incredible, but I can't really imagine going back to it".

However, Knightley's role in the franchise helped her to turn into an A-listed star.

Since then, she has gone on to mix and match her roles, moving from period drama, to indie projects to more blockbuster roles.
