Bengaluru, Nov 7: Social welfare minister H Anjaneya condemned the rapists and has demanded that rapist should be hanged in the wake of increased sexual violence on children.
“In Arab states severe punishments are given to rapists including that of beheading. We should also do something like that. The central government which enacts law should think and work on the same,” Anjaneya said.
“When rapists are punished with severe punishments like hanging, it will send a right signal to others about the consequences. The rape incidents will come down with the introduction of stricter laws”, he added.
