Udupi: Sri Lankan PM to visit Manipal tomorrow

Udupi, Nov 7: D M Jayaratne, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, will be visiting Manipal on Saturday, November 8.

Jayaratne will be the chief guest for the 19th Convocation of Manipal University to be held at KMC Greens at 5 pm tomorrow.  

The convocation is spread over two days to facilitate distribution of degrees to over 3,000 undergraduate and post-graduate students.

Jayaratne will return on Sunday afternoon.

Security on the Mangaluru-Manipal road for the two days has been beefed up.
