Mangaluru, Nov 7: Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Hindu Jagarana Vedike along with various other pro-Hindu outfits staged protest against the state government, condemning government's stand on invoking the Goonda act against the pro-Hindu out fit activists and demanding the resignation of District In-Charge minister Ramanath Rai and transfer of Police commissioner R Hithendra.

The protest was held in front of Town Hall on Friday November 7.

Addressing the protest Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader M B Puranik said " State government is involved in a planned strategy to curb the voice of pro-Hindu activists by booking them under Goonda Act. From past 2 years government is appeasing the minorities and involved in anti-Hindu stances. Pressure is mounted on the police department to book Hindu activists unnecessarily under Goonda act to curb their voice. If the government is trying to protect voice of Hindus in the future,Hindu organizations will stage massive protest. If the peace of the society is harmed State government should bear the responsibility. Pro-Hindu activists are struggling to protect culture of this land and they are against cow slaughter. State governments should stop suppressing Hindus and should hold administration with peace and prosperity.

Sathyajith Surthkal the State co-convener of Hindu Jagarana Vedike said " State government should stop targeting the Hindu activists and stop booking them under Goonda act. Law is equal to everyone. Hence police department should also arrest district in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai, UT Khader and MLA Moideen Bava for backing the offenders who involved in various crimes. Though there were various criminals like Rashid Malbari who has the underworld link and Madooru Yousif, government has failed to book them under the Goonda act. Though the criminals attacked police with weapons, illegal cattle transporters transported cattle illegally, government has failed to book them under Goonda act because with only reason that they are from minority community. Even when the e cattle are transported in inhumane ways, the offenders are not booked under with proper laws. Instead they are supported."

From past one and half years Hindu youth outfits have been suppressed. In future Hindus cannot tolerate this. Till the district in charge minister submits his resignation and police commissioner is transferred, struggle will continue" He added.

MLC Monappa Bhandary said "Police officers are working as the agents of Congress government. Those youths who are protecting the culture of this land are booked under Goonda act. In the name of Ahinda, government is polarizing the society"

Commenting on Nanditha's death at Thirthahalli Bhandary said "I doubt that the government is protecting the offenders. Even police have not acted properly in this case. People have no faith in CID investigations. It should be handed over to CBI."

On this occasion, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Ravishankar Mijar, Sharan Pumpwell, Kishor Kumar, Bujanga Kulal, Jagadish Shenava and others were present.

During BJP ruling Minority people had the same feeling what at present these protesting people have. Ministers & Police department was targeting Minority People. Even Church attack was a well planned activity. These protesting people only done those mischiefs. Finally result was seen during election by congress winning majority seats in Dakshina Kannada.
District In-Charge minister Ramanath Rai was far better than Nagraj Shetty (BJP). If Really this Govt. is not treating all the communities equally, the result we can see during Next Election. Let us Wait!!!

I dont understand why only some particular Hindu Outfits (Rowdies) take part in useless protest. They are a total nuisance to the public by blocking roads, raising vulgar slogans. The Commissioner must pass an order to thrash these goons black n blue, so they will not dare to come out of their house for any protest.

Sangh Parivar just do not want Congress to be in power in any state. These fanatics will stoop to any level to bring Congress down. Everything has to be done as per their wish. No sangh parivar member can be booked under any IPC. They are free to do whatever they want. They can dictate any terms to any authority. This is Banana republic.

These people are good for nothing. Provoking & protesting against Govt make no sense. These outfits trying to fool public & divide the nation in the name of Hindu culture & religion. But laws should be equal to all, don't spare, book them under goonda act, whether he may be hindu, Christian or Muslim.

    One nation..one policy..one law..
For internal Law and Order we have the Police and intelligence an d for external we have the army..navy and air force...
    now who is controlling whom?
who is controlling whose fate and destiny?
just because you are a majority population means nothing ..
India is a secular nation and the Laws are clear..
There is 1.2 billion Indians and time for Central and the state to engage and employ them and not wasting time on roadside to keep tab on others and causing Social problems and intruding in privacy.
Who is : Ram sena: who is Bajrang dals: who is Shiv sena ..who is sangh parivar?
    who wants to control whom?
Time for the govt to induct them in hard core army to deploy them on Pakistan and china borders immediately and defend our sovereign nation rather than causing communal disharmony ..
their HUMAN resource should be harnessed .
    and tapped fully...
There are 50 % of the population..wasting time on road side..whose responsibility is it to generate employment ..educate these masses .. skill them ..train them?
otherwise introduce family planning either or?
like in China.. but dont have Communal and racial problems .this is simply POLITICS... STOP IT..not needed..
