Shivamogga, Nov 9: Police in Singanamane village near Bhadravathi have arrested a person in connection with the rape on a minor.
The arrested person is Imran (20).
The victim is eleven years old who happens to be the neighbour of the accused.
As per the reports, Imran had been allegedly raping the victim for the past three months. The girl who went to school as usual fell unconscious and was taken to Meggan hospital in Shivamogga. The doctors after tests revealed that the girl was pregnant.
The parents of the victim complained to the police. The police arrested the accused after that.
