Mangalore, Nov 5: Yenepoya Abdullah Kunhi has been selected for the ‘Excellent Manager – 2006 award’ by the Mangalore management association administrative committee. Abdullah Kunhi is also the chairman of Islamic Educational Institutions, which has a 700 bed hospital here. He is also managing medical and dental colleges.

All India Medical Association (AIMA) New Delhi president Subir Rah will confer the award to Abdullah Kunhi, at the award presentation ceremony which will be held at Hotel Taj Manjuran on December 6.

Mangalore Management Association has numerous professionals and entrepreneurial administrators as members. It is associated with AIMA, New Delhi which has over 30,000 professionals as representatives.

AIMA earlier conferred the awards on Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade, K K Pai, Vinay Hedge, Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Srinivas V Kudva, Kepul Dinesh Nayak, Ananthakrishna, Dr Mohan Alva and Dr Ramdas Pai.
