Two businessmen in Puttur get extortion calls from underworld elements

Puttur, Nov 10: It has been revealed that two Puttur and Sullia based businessmen have received threat calls allegedly from Dubai.

A person engaged in gold and jewelry business and another person in finance and real estate business have received these calls. The calls which came from two numbers starting with 301 and 344 are said to have been originated from Dubai.

As per some reports, two youngsters collected the information about the businessmen and their business affairs and handed over the information to the underworld elements in Dubai to go for extortion. The identity of these youngsters is not known yet.

It is said that police are investigating the issue and are on the right direction.

Previously a few businessmen in Mangaluru were receiving threat calls for extortion in the name of Bannanje Raja. Police had managed to trace the calls.

In the present case, the calls are made in the name in the name of Kali Yogish. It is said that the persons who pass information with the contact numbers of wealthy businesspersons are rewarded when the gangs manage to extort money. Certain percentage of the loot is reserved for the informers.

The businessmen have been provided with security.

    Get all the ba#vas and their informers and first of all give such beating that they should forget who they are. Next step finish them from this face of this earth.
