Mangaluru: Suspended PSI Umesh Kumar resumes duty at Kavoor police station

Mangaluru, Nov 10: The suspended sub inspector of Kavoor police station, Umesh Kumar has resumed his duties as the sub inspector of the same police station from where he was suspended.

Umesh Kumar was suspended by the police commissioner pending investigations on the alleged assault on Charan a Hindu activist. The protest which was called by the Hindu activists demanding the removal of Umesh Kumar had taken days with some appearances from politicians of BJP including B S Yeddyurappa the former chief minister.

The commissioner had ordered the suspension after the protests went on for days.

Now the same sub inspector is back to duty. He resumed duty on November 9.

    May be false allegations by the Hindu Activists and supported by Yeddy, PSI is back at his desk

    Yeddy may be trying to get support as his earlier cases are being re-investigated and ... anything may happen when that happens ... these like Ranjita's case where he led the crowd and now this clearly shows he is preparing grounds for peoples' sympathy.

    Congratulation, good move by the karnataka govt, finally now we can believe that law and order still exists in mangaluru

    We don't need cattle saver or religion saver for any community in mangaluru, we are already fedup with this activists and we are fine with our good hindu, muslim and christian brothers and sisters in mangaluru,

    Unfortunately mangaluru is already full of religion savers / cattle savers / daily protesters in the streets against some political parties

    most importantly first we need the savers of humanity in mangaluru, and a honest, impartial strict police officer like u who can help to maintain and get back the peace and harmony in mangaluru

    unfortunately mangaluru is full of unwanted, waste jobless dandapindaas instead of focusing their own daily work they are always roaming in the streets of to watching and monitoring others like what others are doing ? and always trying find some reasons to disturb the peace in managlore sad but this is the truth.
