Theme of her poems mostly center around Love and Family Life. Her poems are regularly published in Konkani magazines and through electronic media.

"Sukha-Dukhachim Panam, Punn Mogachim" is the name of an Anthology of Konkani short Poems

The humming waves of turquoise Arabian Sea gently kissing the white sands of the Trasi Beach during summer, swaying palms to the gentle cool breeze and the scenic surroundings of her native place has surely inspired Olivera Flavia, as it is evident in her poems. Writing has come natural, as her elder brother Anthony Olivera has contributed a lot to the Konkani literature through stories/short stories and Poems and she sees him as a role model and inspiration for her to begin writing which she never ventured to publish, as she believes that for everything there is a time and start with God's blessings, so now the time has come to
fulfill her long st awaited dream.

In-spite of being extremely preoccupied with her household, family and work at Kuwait University , she somehow manages to devote time for her passion of writing. She also serves as a General Secretary to the Kundapur Varaddo Welfare Association, Kuwait and also contributes her singing prowess to the Salmiya Church choir.

The book is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2006 at the annual day celebrations of Kundapur Varaddo Welfare Association in Kuwait
