Belthangady: Man threatens daughter in law, grandchild with gun

Belthangady, Nov 11: Police complaint against a person for threatening his daughter in law and grandchild has been registered at Belthangady police station.

Gangayya Gowda (65) from Neriya is the accused person.
Vedavathi, the complainant has been married for the past two years to Lakshmana Gowda, the son of Gangayya Gowda, the accused.

As per the complaint, Gangayya Gowda on November 9, threatened Vedavathi and her child. Gangayya allegedly pointed the country made loaded gun at her and the small child saying they should leave the house immediately. The complainant mentioned in the complaint that her father in law told her that he would kill her if she did not listen to him.

It is said that the gun is not licensed.
