Mangalore, Nov 8: Out of the total of around 40 samples 4 have been tested positive for Chikungunya here.

According to District Health Officer Dr Jagannath, around 40 blood samples from DK district were sent to National Institute of Virology, Pune for confirmation.

Among the four confirmed positive one is a resident of the Lady Goshen hospital quarters, while the rest are residents of NMPT, Panambur

The city corporation has planned to undertake fogging in various areas of the city.
