Udupi: Three thieves arrested in Udyavar

Udupi, Nov 14: Kaup Police have arrested three persons conspiring to steal in Udyavar on November 13.

Mohan (35) from Padil, Mangaluru, Harish Poojary (29) from Ambalpady, Udupi and Sridhar Bhat (48) from Pandubettu, Udupi are the arrested persons.

The trio were said to have been conspiring to steel house hold goods and were found near Babbuswamy temple in Udyavar.

The goods worth Rs.15, 000 kept hidden in the yard belonging to Anwar Mohammed in Udyavar have been confiscated by police.

Kaup police station ASI Jayasheela and his team have made the arrests during their patrol.
